Scope
This home was another great James Hardie complete residing project where we installed
Cedarmill Hardie Plank in Color Plus Evening Blue from their Statement Collection;
James Hardie Wrap;
James Hardie Trim in Arctic White.
The homeowners reached out to us wanting to start the project with one crucial request: we complete the whole project before Thanksgiving. If not, they would prefer to wait until the new year.
I'm proud to say that even with such a tight deadline, our team finished one day ahead of schedule, exceeding their request. We also cleared out the construction material and cleaned the property from all debris.
We even had the gas line reconnected in time for the homeowner's Thanksgiving dinner preparations, which was an unforeseen challenge to our tight schedule as it needed to be re-routed during the deck build.

Our siding crew did a fantastic job. They worked hard, long hours, and got an incredible amount of work done each day.
On our first day, the old deck had already been removed. The new ledger board was also installed by the team re-building the deck.
We started on the back of the house. We wanted to get this section of siding replaced first so that the deck team could begin their re-build.
As everyone was focused on our tight schedule, we forgot to take pictures. We only realized this once most of the siding on the back of the house had already been installed.
As soon as we completed installing the back siding, we removed our scaffolding and continued with the sides of the house.
At sunset or when the sun shines at the right angle, leaving no glare, the house color turns into a beautiful rich Evening Blue.
With the back and the sides completed, we started removing the old siding on the front of the house.
The picture below shows the installation of the Hardie Wrap. We sealed up each opening and vertical to prevent moisture from getting behind the house wrap.
The holiday wreaths have been hung now that our work is complete and all construction debris and material removed.
